My final Iki picture is one that shows one of the little hidden charms of the island. This small patch of land is an island half the day and just a little peninsula the rest. This was one of the few times I was able to access the island. I eagerly jaunted over the parted sea to realise that I was just on a really, smaller island with a few trees, a shrine and not much else. Whilst waiting for the sea to wash over the pathway I dreamt of adventure stories I read when I was younger. Unfortunately I got hungry before the tide rose and I headed back home and on to Kyoto.
