With warmer weather comes more danger and responsibility. This sign surely will eliminate any reckless behaviour with the depiction of a flamed bottom monkey and the resounding warning, 嵐山を火災から守ろう (Let’s protect Arashiyama from fire).
I feel that would have been the case if this sign had not been so close to the one advertising Monkey park. Consequently, I’m sure anyone randomly carrying a backpack full of fireworks would be forgiven for attempting to re-create this intriguing scene.
